Aztec Magic Bonanza Slot Review by BGaming
Get ready to immerse yourself in the Aztec culture with Aztec Magic Bonanza, the sequel to the original Aztec Magic from BGaming. This version offers a 6X5 grid and has a 96% RTP. Your winning combinations pay anywhere, and the features you will see are the multipliers, free spins, a buy feature, and cascading wins. This game was released on Feb 17, 2022.
Introduction To Aztec Magic Bonanza
BGaming did a great job with this game that comes with an incredible amount of bonus features. When you land 8 symbols at a time, you are in store for a winning combination that pays both ways. Once you form a winning combination, the symbols that pay disappear and the spaces on the reels get filled with more cascading symbols from the top.
Features
Aztec Magic Bonanza from BGaming offers players 6 reels with forty paylines. This Aztec themed slot machine allows you to bet $0.20 up to $20 per spin. The hit rate for this game is 2.59 and the FS rate is 398. The maximum win is €255 000, and the maximum multipler you can trigger is 10,200X your win.
Symbols
The symbols you will find on the reels are the Aztec Warrior, which can yield you 50X your bet, while the Aztec woman pays out 25X your wager. If you get lucky and land the serpent, you win 15X your wager and the tortoise brings you 12X your bet. The lower paying symbols are the playing card symbols, which yield between 2X-10X your bet.
When you land four or more of the scatter symbols, you trigger up to 30 free spins. You can trigger even more if you land more scatters. During the free spins round, you will see multiplier symbols remain in the same position until the avalanche ends. When you get winning combinations, the multipliers bring you between 2X and 100X.
Bonus Games
As we said, there are the cascading wins, which we spoke about, the multiplier and the free spins round. Now, let’s dig into the buy feature. There are two ways you can use the buy feature, the chance X2 feature and the free spins round. Bonus of them increases your chances of winning more.
Aztec Magic Bonanza Bonus Free Spins
You will find the scatter symbol on the reels that looks like a Sun God coin. This is the key to triggering free games. You can land it on any of the reels during the base game. Once you land four of them, you win 10 free spins. However, 5 of them brings you 20 FS. 6 of them brings you 30FS.
During these bonus rounds you will continue to see scatters and have the chance to retrigger the bonus game five times.

Summary
There is nothing special about this theme. You can find hundreds of other games that have the same concept as Aztec Magic Bonanza. However, this version has a different twist. I enjoyed the avalanche system and the rest of the bonus features like the multipliers, free spins, a buy feature, and cascading wins. On the downside there is not a gamble feature and the design is nothing new.
