5 Reel Drive Slot Machine Review, RTP% & Bonuses By Microgaming

If you are fascinated by the worlds of fast cars and fast-foods, you will really love this 5-reel video slot from Microgaming. Aptly named 5 Reel Drive, this is a high-octane slot machine that will get you fully enmeshed in the great American Highway experience. While the game can get your adrenalin pumping fast, it has a simple design that makes gameplay easy. It is the sort of game everyone will want to try.

Introduction

5 Reel Drive is a classic slot game with Car Theme. It has a fairly basic design that will appeal to old-school slot players, but the car theme will also attract modern players. To complete the thrilling highway experience, you will find everything from fuzzy mirror dice to good old blueberry pie.

5 Reel Drive slot features 2D symbols. Aesthetically, it is not at the same level as many of the modern games available today. It features a no-nonsense animation that will appeal to a section of slot fans. The sound effects are simple, too, staying true to the classic arcade slot machine.

As the name clearly suggests, 5 Reel Drive is a 5-reels video slot. It also features just 9 paylines. Though there are few paylines, you are still expected to set up the bet level of the game to suit your budget and playing style. You can adjust the coin value using the (+) and (-) control buttons. Next, choose the number of coins to wager on each of the paylines.

Symbols

On the reels, you will find two sets of symbols. The first set comprises of fast-food symbols like coffee and doughnut, blueberry pie, soda, fries, and a cheeseburger. These are low paying symbols. The other set of symbols pay better: they include fuzzy mirror dice, a pink and yellow car, a trucker, and a flaming wheel. You will get the game jackpot of 10,000 credits when you line up 5 of those tires.

5 Reel Drive has some special symbols that help to improve gameplay. The first of these symbols is the wild, which is represented by a swerving road sign. Like all standard wilds, this symbol has the power to substitute for all other symbols, except the scatter, to complete a winning combination and give you payouts oftener.

They are the scatter symbols here. They can appear on any of the reels and do not need to line on a payline to give you significant win. Finding 3, 4, or 5 scatter Police cars anywhere on the screen will reward you with 5x, 20x, or 50x your total bet respectively. Unfortunately, these scatters do not offer free spins.

Summary

5 Reel Drive is an exciting video slot for those who cherish simple design and gameplay. The graphics are a little dated, and there are few bonus features. If you are patient, however, you can get massive payouts, including the 10,000 coin jackpot.
