Introduction
Like the prequel, Avalon 2 is a medieval-themed video slot. It follows the Legendary King Arthur and his several adventures that have continued to echo through the centuries. Here, players are invited to embark on a quest to retrieve the Holy Grail with the King.
As mentioned earlier, this is a massive upgrade to the original title. It features impressive 3D graphics and crisp animations. The sound effects are great, too, helping to make the gaming experience extremely entertaining.
Features
Avalon 2 is a dynamic 5-reels and 3-rows video slot.In place of traditional paylines, the developers decided to go for the contemporary 243 ways to win. Though the betting range is not too wide, it will accommodate most punters. You can place your bet with a minimum of $0.30 while the maximum bet allowed is $7.50.
Symbols
Avalon II features a variety of symbols. The low-paying symbols are playing card icons including 10, 9, J, Q, K, and A. There are several character symbols in the game, and they pay higher, with some offering additional functions that will improve gameplay significantly.
They include the Black Knight, Morgan, Guinevere, Merlin, and King Arthur himself. Others like the Avalon logo, the Grail, and the Lady of the Lake are special symbols that will award huge prizes and trigger important features.
Merlin Feature
The first exciting feature in Avalon 2 is the randomly triggered Merlin feature. It can bring you an instant cash prize or a multiplier that can be up to 20x your bet on a non-winning spin. You will also be lucky to encounter the Lady of the Lake, which is the wild symbol of the game. It can substitute for all other symbols, except the scatter, to give you a winning combination. It is an expanding wild that can bring significant payouts.
Grail Bonus
The Grail bonus is the biggest attraction of Avalon II. There are eight distinct bonus games here that will significantly improve the gaming experience.
The feature is triggered when you land at least three Grail symbols on the reels. The eight distinct bonus games include Lake of Legend, Misty Vale, Dusky Moors, Forest Falls, Whispering Wilds, Morgan’s Keep, Hall of Shadows, and Isle of Avalon. You will be required to perform different tasks to achieve each bonus game, and it feels good to complete each and get the accompanying prize.
Summary
