Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure Slot Machine Review, RTP% & Bonuses By Microgaming

If you grew up in the ’90s, chances are you are familiar with Bill and Ted, the characters in the 1989 movie, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. These misfits were not the most likable cinematic characters, but the movie was a major success, and it is not surprising to find a video slot that is based on it. Developed by Microgaming, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure is a good game by many standards.

Introduction

Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure is based on the cult 1989 movie of the same title. The storyline is not altered at all by the design or the gameplay. While the stoned misfits are zooming through the universe on a journey through time, you should be busy collecting valuable symbols in matching orders on the reels. The graphics of the game is a little dated, just like the movie that inspired the game. The animations are not far better. The sound effects are just okay.

Features

Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure is a 3-reels video slot with only 5 fixed paylines. To start, you are expected to set up your bet level to suit your budget, though it is most suitable for low-limit players. The coin value ranges from 0.10 to 2.00. You can adjust the coin value, but only a single coin can be wagered on each payline. This means the overall betting range is 0.20 to 10.00 credits per spin.

Symbols

The important symbols on the reels of Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure are characters and icons from the old movie. They include Napoleon, Abraham Lincoln, Genghis Khan, Rufus (the boys’ mentor), as well as the boys themselves, Bill and Ted. The phone box time machine and two major logos are interesting symbols too.

Symbols

The first of the special symbols in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure is the Wyld Stallyns logo. It serves as the wild of the game, with the power to replace all other symbols, except the phone box scatter, to form winning combinations. It is also a high-paying symbol, dishing out 1,000x reward when three are landed on a payline. You should also watch out for the Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure game logo, as it pays out the 2,000x jackpot.

Circuit of Time Bonus

The red phone box scatter symbol doesn’t bring cash rewards. However, when you land three of the scatters at the same time, you will trigger the exciting Circuit of Time Bonus.

You will get a certain number of free spins by shooting at planets as they roll by, or you let Bill and Ted do that for you. You will play the number of free spins you got, in the end.

Guitar Bonus

There is another bonus feature that can be awarded at random. It is called the Guitar bonus and can also bring free spins. You will be required to hit stop when forks of lightning appear on the strings; when you do that on the perfect spot, you can enjoy some free spins.

Summary

Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure from Microgaming is a cool video slot, to be fair. Though it appears a little dated like the movie that inspired it, the possibility of getting big wins compensates for the poor aesthetics.
