Dogfather Slot Machine Review, RTP% & Bonuses By Microgaming

When dogs become gangsters, then you know we have a lot in our hands. Dogfather is a term that has become a little popular in the online casino industry. It has its root in the famous Godfather movie but replaces the human characters with tough dogs that are equal to the task. Microgaming has a game that is aptly named Dogfather slot, and it follows the same premise of gangster dogs, gambling, and casino business.

Introduction

Dogfather can be termed a dog-themed video slot or a gangster-video slot. It is loosely based on the Godfather movie, as stated in the introductory part. Like similar games from other developers, the game replaces the human characters in the movie with dogs that are as tough as you can expect.

These dogs wear suits, play poker for money, and smoke cigar. In terms of graphics and animation, the quality of the game is high. The soundtrack and sound effects are also great.

Features

Dogfather is a 5-reels video slot with 20 flexible paylines. Take time to adjust the bet level to suit their budget and playing style. The number of active lines, the value of the coin, and the number of coins to bet per line can all be adjusted.

Symbols

The symbols on the reels of Dogfather are mostly related to the theme. You have to pay special attention to the different dog breeds that include the brother Rottweilers, Dane bodyguards, and a Mutt boss. Other symbols include the revolver, brass knuckles with spikes on the end, cigar and cutter, as well as a pet monkey. There are a few other special symbols that will make gameplay more exciting and rewarding.

One of the first important symbols you will notice in Dogfather Slot is the Dogfather Dog, which serves as the wild symbol of the game. It can substitute for other symbols on the reels to form a winning combination.

To enjoy free games here, you will have to keep an eye open for the flea symbol as it serves as the scatter of the game.

You will have to land three or more of the scatters anywhere on the reels to activate the free spins feature. You will get 13 free spins in total, which is impressive. Another good thing about the feature is that all wins recorded during the free spins are tripled, giving you an opportunity to hit it big even when you are not paying for the spins.

Mark Your Territory Bonus

Dogfather also has another important feature called Mark Your Territory bonus. This will be activated when you land three or more fire hydrants on an active payline. You will be taken to a new screen that contains two fire hydrants to choose as many as you landed initially. The values contained by your chosen fire hydrant will be multiplied to your baseline wager to grant you a payout.

Summary

We have seen several games that are similar to Dogfather, so there is nothing original about the theme. However, the game is well designed and has the right features to appeal to most punters.
