Introduction
Fortune of Asgard is a Norse-themed video slot. As the name clearly suggests, The mythical city of Asgard has been a subject of many literature, movie, and comic adaptations. It has also featured in many slot games, so there is nothing too special with the theme.
The game design, however, is great, as the floating city of Asgard is well-depicted. It features impressive 3D graphics and sleek animations that will appeal to most players. The aesthetic visuals are complemented with equally wonderful sound effects. The game plays smoothly across different Android, Windows, and iOS devices, including smartphones and mobiles.
Features
Fortune of Asgard is a 5-reels video slot with 20 fixed paylines. Though the paylines are fixed, you can adjust the coin value you will wager to suit your budget. You should also know that this game is aimed at low-limit players.
While the minimum bet is 0.20, the maximum bet allowed is 10.00 credits per spin. If you want the reels to spin automatically, you can use the Autoplay function to get as many as 100 spins, according to your bet setting. The auto spins will stop when you trigger free spins or activate the bonus game.
Symbols
Fortune of Asgard makes use of a variety of symbols. The lower paying symbols are poker card icons, including 10, J, Q, K, and A. The higher paying symbols are related to the theme of the game: they include a shield, a book, Thor’s hammer, as well as the two god characters Thor and Hellia. There are also several bonus features associated with the special theme-related symbols.
Fortune of Asgard has a wild symbol you will be excited about. It is the highest paying symbol of the game and will award 1000x your stake when you land 5 across the reels.
It also has the power to substitute for regular symbols to complete a winning combination.
You should also know that there are two modes of playing the game, and you can switch whenever you want during the base game. All you need is to pick between Thor and Hellia. Depending on who you pick and whether the hammer lands level to Thor’s picture or the book lands level to Hellia’s picture, the entire hammer reel will turn wild, or Hellia’s icon will turn to a sticky wild, respectively.
The Rainbow Bridge is another important symbol to watch out for in this game. It serves as the scatter and key to the bonus rounds. Landing three, four, or five scatters will trigger 10, 15, or 25 free spins. Thor and Hellia’s features are active during the free spins.
Pick Me Bonus Feature
You should also anticipate Asgard to land on reels 1, 3, and 5 when you are playing. When this happens, the Pick Me bonus feature will be activated.
Summary
Fortune of Asgard is a fantastic slot from Microgaming. Though the game is most suitable for low-limit and mid-level punters, it can be rewarding for everyone. In addition to all the features discussed above, there is a gamble feature to potentially double your base wins or lose it all.
