Genies Gems Slot Machine Review, RTP% & Bonuses By Microgaming
Genie is a magical creature that is peculiar to Arabian Night Folklores. In the classic Aladdin story, he is the most powerful creature in the universe, who, ironically, lives in a very tiny lamp. In the original story, the wish-granting genie can give you whatever you want. In this game from Microgaming, you don’t need to rub the magic lamp to summon genie and win some cash payouts; you only need to land matching symbols on the paylines.
Introduction
Genie’s Gems can best be described as a genie-themed slot. You can also call it an Aladdin-themed slot or an Arabian Night themed-slot. Anyone who is familiar with the story can easily relate to any of the names.
The overall design of the game does justice to the title, with the valuable symbols being part of the backstory. In terms of graphics and animations, there is nothing exceptional here. The images are in 2D. There is nothing too inspiring about the sound effects, either. They are usual casino fare audio sounds.
The number 5 seems to be very important in Genie’s Gems.
Features
The game is a 5-reel slot machine with 5 paylines. It is also a 5 coins game. Some online casinos may offer free versions for players who want to get a feel of the game, but it is game for punters who love to play real money slot machines online.
The value of the coins in the game can be varied, and punters can place between 1 and 5 coins on each payline. Overall, the betting range is from 0.25 to 25.00 credits per spin. This may not appeal to some high rollers, but there are potentials of hitting it big with this game.
Symbols
In Genie’s Gems, you will find a variety of symbols. The common and lower-paying symbols are playing card icons like 10, J, Q, and K. On the higher side of the paytable, you will find theme-related symbols such as a golden magic lamp, an Arabian carpet, a minaret, a gem, and the wish-granting genie himself.
Like many of the genies in different movies of the genre, the genie in this online casino slot game has a goatee, some golden earrings, and a purple turban.
As you can guess, the genie and his gems are the highest paying symbols of the game. For landing 3 gems on the payline, you will earn 50 credits; 4 gems will yield 500, while 5 matching gems will award a significant 5,000 coins payout.
To crown all your effort, the genie offers more significant wins. Three genies award 100, 4 genies award 1,000, while five genies on a payline will award the whooping 10,000 credit jackpot of the video slot game.
If you are expecting special symbols and features in Genie’s Gems Slot, you will be disappointed.
This is quite odd for a thematic game. There are no wilds, scatters, multipliers, a second-screen bonus, or even a gamble feature. The game is just bland.
Summary
The positive things about Genie’s Gems are the amazing backstory and some meaningful high paying symbols. In terms of graphics, there is nothing exceptional here. The biggest disappointment here is the lack of bonus features. It will mostly appeal to those who want hassle-free reels spinning actions.
