Gift Rap Slot Machine Review, RTP% & Bonuses By Microgaming
There are so many wonderful things about Christmas. Gift exchange is one of the most remarkable ones. Besides the regular goodies that Santa Claus hands out to good children, families exchange gifts packaged properly in Christmas wraps. This is basically the inspiration behind Gift Rap from Microgaming. The game is a perfect gift for the festive season but can be enjoyed throughout the year. You should know that when you play the right way, you can earn some cash reward from the game.
Introduction
As hinted in the introductory part, Gift Rap is a Christmas-themed video slot. From the background of the game to the reels and the symbols, you will know that it is all about the festive season. Most of Santa’s helpers are here to help players win cash prizes.
The elves are characteristically colorful here. In terms of graphics and animation, the game is well-designed. There are theme-appropriate soundtracks to make the actions on the reels livelier.
Features
Gift Rap is a standard 5-reels video slot with 25 paylines. You can decide the number of paylines to keep active. The game is also open to all kinds of punters.
All you need to do is to pick the right coin denomination from 0.01 to 0.50. You can also choose the number of coins to place on each payline to suit your budget. When you are sure of the bet setting, hit the spin button to get the action going.
Symbols
Coming to the symbols of the game, they are all shades of Christmas. The fascinating ones are the elf characters.
There is an elf wearing a green hat; there is another wearing a purple hat; there is a pair of female elves sharing a microphone, as well as a flamboyant character called Rappin Jack Frost, who is wearing a massive pendant.
There are several old-fashioned toys on the reels too, including a cuddly teddy bear, a spinning top, a music box, a toy hammer, as well as a monkey playing a pair of cymbals. These are mostly paying symbols that will award a win according to their values and the number that matches on an active payline. There are special symbols that make the game more exciting.
The first special symbol to notice in Gift Rap Slot is the gift wrap bubble, which serves as the wild of the game. It can substitute for all the symbols, except the scatter and the Rappin Jack Frost bonus symbols, to complete a winning combination. It is also the highest paying symbol of the game; five will fetch as much as 6,000 coins.
The scatter in Gift Rap Slot is the snow spray symbol.
The unfortunate thing here is that it does not trigger bonus features. They are linked with multipliers, instead. Three, four, or five will award 5x, 20x, or 8x multipliers, respectively. This can be massive when you are playing the maximum bet. Considering the payout, it can even be more rewarding than free spins.
The Rappin Jack Frost symbol is a bonus symbol in the game. By landing three or more, you will trigger a 6×5 grid containing gift boxes. You will pick as many gifts as the RJF feels generous enough to award. You can potentially win as much as 32,250 coins from this round.
Summary
Gift Rap is perfect for the festive season, as well as whenever you are feeling nostalgic about Christmas. From the game design to the features, everything is great here.
