The prequel was simply termed Girls with Guns: it was a major hit. Most punters loved the sexy gun-carrying girls as well as the features offered by the game. Microgaming released a sequel that ticks all the boxes in terms of improvement. Do you want to try this one out too? Read up this quick review to understand what you are getting into.
Introduction
Girls with Guns – Frozen Dawn is a sequel to the original Girls with Guns slot. It is obviously an action-themed video slot that features some sexy female fighters. The landscape has changed in this game, as the title suggests. Instead of the jungle where they battled in the first slot game, the fight takes place in the Arctic in this follow-up. To make things more appropriate, they are well-covered up. Overall, the graphics and animations are amazing. The sound effects are great too.
Features
Like the first game, this is a 5-reels video slot. Again, it offers 243 ways to win, which is the contemporary setup loved by most punters.
For punters who love to play online slot machines for real money, the game is an interesting option for everyone. There are three available coin values: 0.01, 0.02, and 0.05. Different coins can also be wagered for each spin. Overall, it is open to low-limit bettors as well as high rollers.
Symbols
The symbols you will encounter on the reels of this game are not so different from the ones in the prequel: they are only touched up a little to suit the setting.
The lower-paying symbols are playing card symbols from 10 to Ace. The team leader Katherine returns with the others, including Maria, Kira, Alex, Zoe, and Jess. They are all well-dressed here in the Arctic. They will also offer higher payouts when they match on the reels.
Again, the game logo returns as the wild symbol in Girls with Guns – Frozen Dawn. It will substitute for all other symbols, except the scatter, to complete a winning combination. There is big news here: there is another wild in the game, represented by an icon that is a silhouette of the six girls. This special wild appears on the third reel and will expand to cover the entire reel when it appears.
The scatter symbol of Girls with Guns Frozen Dawn has been changed to s satellite icon. When you land three or more on the reels, you will trigger a dozen free spins. The free spins are also garnished with either frozen wilds or magnetic wilds.
Shootout Bonus
You will also receive either a 2x, 20x, or 100x your total bet in addition to the special free spins.
Girls with Guns Frozen Dawn also has a bonus feature that is simply referred to as the Shootout bonus. This is a random feature that can be activated after a non-winning spin. You will know that the feature has been activated when one of the girls cocks her gun. You just have to select the symbol to shoot at, and the girls will get the job done, and you simply pick up the cash reward.
Summary
The original Girls with Guns was a very good game. Microgaming has done what is expected of them by releasing a befitting sequel – Girls with Guns Frozen Dawn. It is an excellent game you can play all year long.
