Gold Of Machu Picchu Slot Machine Review, RTP% & Bonuses By Microgaming

What do you know about Machu Picchu? We believe that the mountainous citadel has the highest number of gap year students. It is almost impossible to move five yards here without bumping into one gap-year student. This means there is something special about the place and what it holds for the Incan people as well as others from all parts of the world.

Microgaming has built a befitting game for the citadel and decorated it with gold. Aptly named Gold of Machu Picchu, there are so many impressive things about this mobile casino game. If you are willing to give it a try, read up our quick review before jumping in.

Introduction

Gold of Machu Picchu is an Incan-themed video slot. As the name suggests, it is based on the famous Machu Picchu citadel in the Andes Mountains in Peru that has been in existence from the 15th century.

In terms of graphics and animation, this is not one of the most pleasant games about the theme. In fact, Migrogaming’s depiction of the ancient civilization in this game is a bit annoying. The landscape is not even as beautiful as we expected. The sound effects are okay, however.

Features

Gold of Machu Picchu is a standard 5-reels video slot with 20 payline. While there is a chance that you can play the game free in some online casinos, it is made for punters who play online slot machines for real money. It is open to all kinds of punters from micro-limit bettors to high rollers.

It is possible to adjust the three major parameters, including the number of active paylines, the value of the coins, as well as the number of coins to place on each payline. Overall, the total bet can be anything from 0.01 to 150.00 credits per spin.

Symbols

While the overall quality of the graphics is not impressive, the symbols you will find on the reels of Gold of Machu Picchu are all on point. Among others, they include Incas, virgins, wild cats, armadillos, and Llamas.

Besides these theme-related symbols, you will find the regular card playing symbols from Ace to 9; they appear often but pay significantly low prizes. They will be replaced during the free spins by herbs, grain, cloth, and pottery.

The first important symbol to watch out for in Gold of Machu Picchu is the Mountain Wild symbol. It can substitute for regular paying symbols to complete a winning combination. It is also the key to the game’s regular jackpot of 5,000x your line bet.

Another important symbol in the game is the special golden mask symbol, which appears on reels 1, 3, and 5. When three are found at a time, they will take players to a pick-and-click screen where the color of the screen can be changed, and prize multipliers can be found.

You will also be lucky to have an Inca and a virgin appear next to each other on reels 4 and 5, as that will trigger what is known as Llama Deification.

It will add one free spin to a total in the top left-hand corner of the screen. This can be retriggered indefinitely till the free spins feature is activated. As hinted, the free spins feature replaces the lower-paying card symbols with valuable wins to improve the winning potentials.

Summary

Gold of Machu Picchu is an interesting video slot game. The only problem of the game is poor quality graphics and animation. The gameplay features make up for this downside, however.
