Introduction

As the name clearly suggests, Golden Dragons is a dragon-themed slot. As hinted in the introductory part, also, it is also a classic slot. The developer, Microgaming, is known for recreating classic slot machines in a manner that will appeal to old-timers and newcomers, and this one is another one in the sub-genre.

It is set in a mystical dragon lair, where the beasts guide over their prized possessions. The graphics are just decent, with minimal animations to keep things simple and straight to the point. The sound effects are not spectacular, but they help to make the game more enjoyable.

Features

Golden Dragons features 3 reels and 5 paylines. The game is open to all kinds of punters as the bet settings can be adjusted to suit different budgets.

You can use the Bet One button to choose the number of activated paylines. The (+) and (-) command buttons can be used to choose the appropriate coin value as well as the number of coins to stake on the paylines.

If you are feeling lucky and want to go all-in for the maximum bet, the Max Bet button will bet the maximum possible value on all 5 paylines. This will boost your potential win, significantly.

Symbols

Like in most slot games, winning in Golden Dragons involves lining matching symbols on an active payline. The symbols you will find are mostly classic symbols, including single, double, and triple BARs.

Matching individual BAR symbols, as well as a combination of the different BARs, will fetch smaller wins. You will also find a shield with two crossed swords as part of the basic symbols on the reels.

As you can guess, Golden Dragons doesn’t have scatter symbols or free spins features. There is hardly any form of distraction to the gameplay as the developers clearly want to keep it as classic as possible. The only form of special symbol on the reels is the dragon symbol, which serves as the wild.

It can replace any of the other symbols to complete a winning combination.

In addition to being the wild of the mobile casino game, the dragon symbol is also the highest-paying symbol in Golden Dragons. Depending on the payline they land, a combination of three dragons can fetch you between 1000x and 5000x your initial bet.

Summary

Microgaming have released lots of incredible classic slot machines that appeal to both old-timers and modern slot players. Golden Dragons is one of them. Though it lacks bonus features, it can be a lucrative classic slot for those who will play patiently.
