Great Czar Slot Machine Review, RTP% & Bonuses By Microgaming

How do you see Russia? If you watch a lot of Hollywood movies or follow the popular narrative, you will always see the country as a belligerent nation. If you are ready to learn, you may see things from another perspective as the country has come a long way and has a rich history.

We can’t promise that you will learn all you need to learn about Russia from this Microgaming releases. We just want to stress that the game is inspired by the rulers of the Russian empire.

Introduction

It is not often that we see online video slots that are inspired by Russia. But that is exactly what we have here. The game focuses on the rich and flamboyant lifestyle of the Russian elites before the revolution. As you can expect, these leaders had a lot of gold and jewels, and these precious things adorn the screen in an impressive manner.

The background is glowing with the gold-framed reels hovering impressively. There is a glimpse of the Saint Basil Cathedral on the Red Square in Moscow on top of the reels. In terms of graphics and animation, the game is well-designed and smooth. The sound effects are impressive, too.

Features

Great Czar is a standard 5-reels video slot with as much as 30 paylines running across them. To win, you have to line up the game symbols to match on the paylines. Before you can do this, you are expected to set up your bet according to your budget and playing style.

You can use the (+) and (-) command buttons to choose the right coin value and the number of coins on each payline.

When you are comfortable with the bet setting, hit the spin button to get the action started. If you are feeling lucky and want to go all-in for the maximum bet in all 30 lines, you can use the Max Bet button to make that happen. You can also use the Autospin function to get the reels spinning automatically after setting up the bet level.

Symbols

Great Czar has two major sets of symbols. The playing card symbols from 9 to Ace are the commonest of these symbols. They appear often on the reels but offer low payouts. The other symbols you will find on the reels are theme-related. They include the golden egg, diamond, picture of the princess, as well as the Czar himself.

They pay significantly better than the card symbols. Great Czar has a couple of special symbols that will improve gameplay. The first is the red shield symbol, which serves as the wild of the game. It can substitute for all regular symbols to complete a winning combination.

You will also be lucky to find the blue crown scatter symbol of Great Czar. They award scatter wins that are applied to your total-bet and will also activate a mini-game. In the mini-game, you will get the opportunity to pick free spins and multipliers from the towers of Saint Basis cathedral.

Summary

It is good to see Microgaming digging deeper to find inspiration for a video slot game. Great Czar Slot is a well-designed game and has just enough features to make things exciting. It can also be a rewarding type of slot machine for individuals who are eager to accept the risk and stake higher.
