Jewels Of The Orient Slot Machine Review, RTP% & Bonuses By Microgaming

If there is one thing we know about the ancient Asian continent, it is the fact that they have a lot of jewels. There are many slot games that explore the continent, but few are particular about the jewels of the orient. Microgaming has stepped up to the task, releasing a game that celebrates the richness of the orient. Aptly named Jewel of the Orient, this is a game that will appeal to most punters. It is a penny slot that can be lucrative for those who can play right.

Introduction

Jewel of the Orient is clearly an Oriental-themed video slot. It is not the most peculiar game from the reputable developer as it follows the standard pattern of most Asian-themed games. In addition to the ethnic women in the traditional Asian dresses, there are beautiful ornaments that are obviously of Asia origin scattered all over the screen.

Overall, the interface is bright and vibrant, with high-quality graphics that will appeal to most players. The animations are great, too, with the Oriental soundtrack helping to make the gaming experience a lot more interesting.

Features

Jewel of the Orient is a standard 5-reels video slot with 9 paylines running across them. Winning combinations are expected to land on the active paylines, but first, you need to set up the game to suit your budget and playing style. There are two available modes for punters to choose from: regular and expert modes. There is no much difference between the two: only that the autospin feature is available to the supposed experts alone.

Setting up is pretty easy. You can use the command buttons on the bottom part of the screen to choose the appropriate coin value. You can also choose the number of paylines to keep active and the number of coins to stake on them.

Symbols

The symbols on the reels of Jewel of the Orient are all related to the theme. They include the two ornamental boxes and the different Asian Women, who are dressed in distinguishing colored attires. In addition to the regular wins you will get during the base game, there are features that will impress you.

The first of the special symbols you should look out for in Jewel of the Orient penny slot game is the wild symbol, which is represented by the game logo. It is a standard wild that will substitute for all other game symbols, except the scatters, to complete a winning combination.

It is also the top-paying symbol of the game, awarding a significant prize that will be 2,500x your line bet when five land on an active payline.

Another important symbol to watch out for in this game is the glorious oriental style palace that serves as the scatter symbol of the game. It doesn’t have to match on a payline to award a win. When you find three or more anywhere on the reels, you will be invited into the palace to play a bonus game. The mini-game is very simple: you will have to select three gifts for the Asian beauties. The gifts will include free spins, multipliers, and a bonus prize.

Summary

There are so many Asian-themed video slots from Microgaming, and Jewel of the Orient is not so different from the others. It can be a lucrative penny slot, however. Play for real money, and you can earn decent payouts on a steady basis.
