Rhyming Reels Hearts And Tarts Slot Machine Review, RTP% & Bonuses By Microgaming

A good number of video slots from Microgaming takes us back to the worlds we were exposed to when we were little. Rhyming Reels: Hearts and Tarts is one of such games. It is a tasty little slot machine that can keep you spinning for so long. In addition to being well designed, the game has a number of impressive features that can bring significant rewards and make you want to reach for more.

Introduction

Rhyming Reels: Hearts and Tarts can best be described as an adventure-themed video slot. It is loosely based on the children’s poem, the Queen of Hearts, hence the name. If you know anything about the poem, you will know that the Queen is not someone to be messed with.

She is a bizarrely, tyrannical ruler. In the narrative here, a scallywag knave had the nerves to steal some tarts baked by the Queen. You will find enough symbols that will tell the story in a manner that will help you win. The graphics and animations are really good.

Features

Many players will also enjoy the tunes that accompany the actions on the reels.

Rhyming Reels Hearts and Tarts is a standard 5 reel slot with as many as 300 paylines. It is one of many high limit slots from Microgaming that you can set up to suit your budget and playing style. When you have a good idea of how much you are willing to stake, you can proceed to set up your bet level.

The maximum bet on offer is 15 coins on the paylines, but the coins come in different denominations, with the smallest being just 0.01. You can play around with the control on the bottom part of the screen till you are satisfied with your wager.

In the Expert mode, you can also use the Autoplay function to get the reels spinning automatically for as little as 5 times or as much as 500 times.

Symbols

Coming to the symbols on the reels, you will encounter some interesting ones. The commonest of these symbols are playing card icons (A, K, Q, J, and 10). They offer the least payouts.

To get more from your winning combinations, watch out for the character symbols that appear less often. These symbols include the tarts, the waitress, the knave, and the Queen of Hearts herself.

The Queen of hearts symbol is the most valuable symbol in this game. She can award a cash payout of 1000x your line bet when five appear on a payline at once. She is also the first special symbol you will find, a Wild.

As the wild of the game, the Queen of Hearts can take the place of other symbols, except the scatter, to complete a winning combination.

It will double the value of any win it is involved in. It also appears stacked during both the base game and the free spins, ramping up big wins for you.

Talking about the scatter of the game, it is depicted by the game’s logo. It offers scatter payouts, irrespective of how it forms on the reels. You will need three or more free spins to trigger at least ten free spins. All wins during the free spins are doubled. And when the wild appears stacked in the win, you will see your prize quadrupled.

Summary

Rhyming Reels: Hearts and Tarts is a good game. It may not appeal to all punters, but many will be satisfied with what it offers.
