Santa Paws Slot Machine Review, RTP% & Bonuses By Microgaming

The Festive season has inspired a lot of video slot games that are most enjoyable when the season comes. Most of these games are also so cute that they can be played all year round. To be honest, Santa Paws from Microgaming is not one of such games that can be enjoyed at any time of the year. It is built for Christmas, and you will see that on every spin. The game is a little bit on the cheesy side but remains a brilliant game that can also prove rewarding.

Introduction

Santa Paws Slot is a Christmas-themed video slot that doesn’t hide anything about what it is aimed at achieving – a fun-filled Christmas. It is a classic example of Christmas overload, with every spin oozing of festivity.

The sights and sounds are all Christmas, and some punters may feel overwhelmed by the torrent of tintinnabulations. The graphics appear a little dated, and it will take your great love of Christmas to tolerate the game for so long. The animations are decent.

Features

Santa Paws Slot is a 5-reel video slot with as many as 20 paylines. With so many paylines and the ability to choose your coin denomination and number of coins to bet, this is a game that can be adjusted to suit your mood at any time.

It welcomes all kinds of pointers from low-limit bettors to those who cherish high limit slots. Set the wager to what you are comfortable with and hit the spin button to get the actions started.

Symbols

As you can expect, all symbols in this game scream Christmas. On the paytable, you will find such symbols as a white rabbit decorating a Christmas tree, an owl with a present, a sea lion with two Christmas presents, and a snow wolf mailman with more presents.

In keeping to the spirit of Christmas, Santa Paws Slot is generous with its bonus features. You will find two wild symbols instead of one.

The first wild is an orca whale with a few antlers as a red nose (just like Rudolph). The second wild is Santa Paws himself, a big polar bear that appears as lovely as you would wish. They can both substitute for other symbols, except the penguin scatter, to complete winning combinations. Respectively, they can also offer up to 1,000x and 4,000x your line bet.

The scatter symbol of this game is depicted by the penguin holding a present. This is a very generous scatter that will gift you an automatic 12 free spins when three or more are found anywhere on the reels. As if that is not enough, the penguin offers an incredible 7x multiplier on every win you record during the free spins.

Santa Paws Slot also has a gamble feature. If you are feeling too excited this festive season, you can take part in this optional side game after a winning spin by clicking the ‘Gamble’ button.

You will stake whatever you win for a chance to double or quadruple it by guessing the color or suit of a Santa Paw playing card correctly. A wrong guess will have you lose whatever you staked.

Summary

Santa Paws is a game for the festive season and nothing more. The design is not the best we have seen from Microgaming, but this is a very generous game that can reward patient punters handsomely.
