Secret Romance Slot Machine Review, RTP% & Bonuses By Microgaming

Romance is sweet; romance is beautiful. From literature to movies and televisions, love is a topic that is explored in different dimensions. It is a good thing that we are seeing slot developers explore the theme of romance. Who wouldn’t love to appreciate ‘love’ while spinning the reels of an online video slot? But what if the romantic affair is secret. That will be more fun, even.

Introduction

From the name and the way the game is designed, you don’t need anyone to tell you that Secret Romance is a Romance-themed slot machine.

The game takes the topic seriously, with its entirely pink background screaming LOVE. There are shiny and crisp screen decorations on the floating reels and all over the screen. The quality of the graphics is wonderful, and the screen animations are visually appealing. The game also has a refreshingly romantic soundtrack.

Features

In Secret Romance, you will find 5 spinning reels to play on that support 15 paylines. These paylines are fixed; you will have to play with all of them at all times.

The game, however, offers different ways of adjusting the wager to suit your pocket. It is not the sort of game that will be enjoyed by those who prefer to play slot machines for high stakes. You can only bet from 0.15 to 3.00 credits per spin. As is the norm, the higher you stake, the higher the possible payout you can get.

Symbols

Secret Romance has different reels symbols that need to match on the paylines to grant you winning payouts. The commonest ones are depicted by classic card symbols. While they appear most of the time and form matching combinations easily, their payouts are quite low. They are joined by symbols that are closely related to the topic of love and romance, including rings and roses.

When these theme-related symbols form winning combinations, the payouts they grant are significantly higher than what you will get for the poker card symbols.

Like most Microgaming’s online slots, Secret Romance has a wild symbol. It is depicted by the hearts symbol and has the power to substitute all other basic symbols to complete a winning line and boost the payout you will get.

Mystery Symbols

Secret Romance also has mystery symbols, which serves as the most prominent bonus feature of the game. These mystery symbols normally appear stacked. When they are revealed, they can turn out to be any of the game’s symbols, except the wild heart. When they are revealed, they normally trigger several winning combinations.

Secret Romance also has a scatter symbol. The scatter appears on the screen as a regular ion, but can also be hidden and revealed as a mystery symbol. When you find three or more scatter symbols on the reels, you will be awarded up to 14 free spins. The best thing about the free spins is that all prizes you win during the rounds will be treated to a 2x multiplier.

Summary

Secret Romance is an interesting Microgaming game that can be enjoyed by any punter who is comfortable with the low betting range. The mystery symbols make gameplay more interesting and rewarding.
