Thunderstruck Slot Machine Review, RTP% & Bonuses By Microgaming

If you are fascinated by the Norse Mythology, Thunderstruck is one of Microgaming’s titles you should play. It is a special offer for punters and casual players who are fascinated by Thor and his hammer. Even if you are not a fan of the Norse god, you may still love this video slot. It is well-designed and has the right features to make gameplay exciting and rewarding. This game was so popular, Microgaming released the sequel Thunderstruck 2.

Introduction

Thunderstruck Slot Machine is a Norse-themed video slot. It is particularly about Thor, the powerful Norse god of storms, thunder, and lightening.

Thor is currently the most popular god character in Norse Mythology, thanks to excellent Hollywood movies in the genre. Thunderstruck Slot is a pretty old game. As you can expect, the quality of the graphics is not as great as what we see in recent modern slots. The animations and sound effects are decent, however.

Features

The Thunderstruck features 5 reels and 9 paylines. The simple matrix makes it easy for punters to make their wagers and understand what they stand to gain when matching symbols fall into the right places. If you are playing for real money, you will quickly notice that the game is not really the type of game high rollers will be interested in it.

With a betting range between 0.01 and 54.00 credits per spin, this is for low-limit and mid-range bettors.

Symbols

You will find an assortment of symbols on the reels of Thunderstruck. The commonest ones are generic poker symbols, which offer frequent wins with modest payouts. The valuable and special symbols include a Horn, Thor’s hammer, a stormy castle, lightning, Thor’s Fist, and Thor himself.

One of the first important symbols you will notice in Thunderstruck Slot Machine is the Thor icon. He serves as the wild symbol of this game, with the power to substitute all other reels symbols, except the Rams, and complete winning combinations.

You will also be thrilled when the wild Thor forms part of a winning combination as it will double the prize.

You will also get the opportunity to enjoy free spins. These bonus rounds are unlocked by the scatter symbol, which is depicted by the Ram icon. You need to find three or more Ram scatter symbols anywhere on the reels to trigger this feature.

You will receive 15 free spins to start with. Before you start enjoying the free spins, you will receive scatter pay, which is applied to your total bet. The good part of the deal is that you will get extra 15 free spins if you are lucky to land three or more scatter Rams during the bonus rounds. You will also be thrilled to find out that the value of every win you get during the bonus round will be tripled.

Summary

You will easily notice that Thunderstruck is a little bit old. But the game remains an excellent offer. Play the right way, and you will land yourself some hefty wins.
