There’s A Storm Heading Your Way!

The backdrop to this five-reel game is what appears to be a city of temples, pyramids and other Ancient Egyptian buildings. Either side of the reel grid sit pillars inscribed with mysterious hieroglyphics. It all adds to the atmosphere of the game and, for fans of Eye of Horus, will all look very familiar. One nice little touch is the lightning bolts that flash from time-to-time just above the reels. Along with the dramatic music this is a game that will have you on the edge of your seat.

As with the much acclaimed Eye of Horus, the reel symbols are also Egyptian-themed with such delights as scarab beetles, Ankhs, birds, jackals and the Eye of Horus or, sorry, should that be the Eye of the Storm!

Win Like An Egyptian!

The way to get a winner is this classic slot game is to match three or symbols adjacently from the reel on the far left.

As with the original game this is modelled on and most other slots, the playing card symbols are the lowest paying. Then the Egyptian-themed symbols start paying out a bit more. Get five of them across one of your paylines and you are looking at away between twenty and fifty times your stake.

The wild is what looks like a powerful Egyptian Queen. She must be powerful because when she appears in she can expand to fill the whole reel. You will only see her, however, on reels two, three and four.

Expanding wilds are a good feature but there is also a free spins feature with what they call a symbol upgrade system. Basically, whatever symbols you land in a winning combination will be instantly upgraded to the next level of payout, folding fans turn into Ankhs, Ankhs turn into scarabs and so on.

You need three or more of the pyramid scatters to trigger it and get twelve free spins. If you trigger it with three scatters, you’ll be in for a two-times multiplier; trigger it with four scatters and you will get twenty-times. Get a fully loaded five of them, though, and you will get a very nice fifty-times any wins you spin in during the round.
