Tales of Egypt Slot Machine Review, RTP% & Bonuses By Pragmatic Play

There are so many secrets about Ancient Egypt the world is yet to know. Many archeologists have been working hard to unearth more of these information, and we have several films and books celebrating them. It is a good thing, too, that slot developers are looking into the genre too. Tales of Egypt from Pragmatic Play is one such video slot that explores the side of Egypt we are yet to know about.

Introduction

Tales of Egypt is an Ancient Egyptian-themed slot. Instead of focusing on the famous queen, a pharaoh, or the physical treasures of Egypt, this slot follows a female archeologist who is working on the pyramids. The interface is colorful with several landmarks that will fascinate you and keep reminding you of where you are. The graphics and animations are not too great, but the average punter wouldn’t mind. The sound effects are pleasing.

Features

Tales of Egypt is a typical 5-reels video slot with 20 paylines. To start playing, select the number of paylines you want to play with, choose the appropriate coin value, and wager between 1 and 10 coins on each payline. In summary, you can bet between $0.01 and $5.00 on any of the paylines for real money spins.

There is a maximum bet button that allows high rollers to play maximum bet easily. There are Autoplay function and fast play mode to let you set the reels spinning automatically, and make the spinning faster if you wish.

Symbols

You will find different symbols on the reels Tales of Egypt. The lower-paying symbols are card icons from 10 to A. They appear more often than the theme-related symbols. The theme symbols pay higher and include Bastet, Horus, Kheper, and Seth.

If you are not conversant with these gods and goddesses, they appear as a cat, falcon, scarab beetle, and a human with an animal head, respectively. There are special symbols in the game, too, that you will be delighted to get on the reels.

The explorer in Tales of Egypt, Jane, serves as one of two wild symbols with the great pyramid being the other one. The explorer wild can replace any other non-scatter symbols on the reels to complete a winning combination.

It will help to ensure that you get winning combinations more frequently.

The pyramid icon is not just a wild symbol in Tales of Egypt. It also serves as the scatter symbol of the game. Getting three or more in a row will trigger the Raiding the Pyramid bonus game. You will be rewarded with 10 free spins that will be accompanied by a random multiplier.

You will also select a regular symbol to ask a scatter during the free spins, getting you wins whenever and wherever it lands on the screen during free spins.

Summary

Tales of Egypt is different from most of the games you will find in the Ancient Egyptian genre. Pragmatic developers were obviously trying to create something a little different from the regular slot in the category, and this is just a decent effort.
