Review Methodology – How We Tested
On February 22, 2026, I used my MacBook (Firefox) and my iPhone 17 Pro Max (Safari) on 5G networks to review Cash Bandits 2 🛡️.
I bet $0.25 per spin and spun the reel 100 times, starting with $121.35 and ending with $114.12.
The game started off with a bang when on the seventh spin, I hit a big win of $8.13.
However, the rest of the game was filled with small wins, and I never triggered the vault feature, where you can win up to 190 free games with a 17X multiplier.
I looked in the help section of the slot machine at PlayCroco Casino, and there was no specific RTP% listed, but it did say that the random jackpot contribution is 1:04% of the total return to player.
I found Cash Bandits 2 to be a medium volatility slot game, unlike its sequel, Cash Bandits 3, which has quite high volatility.

I found that loading the game on my MacBook took 2 seconds, whereas on my iPhone it took around 3 seconds.
I tested how responsive the autospin, spin, and stop buttons were, mostly on my iPhone, and found that they were extremely responsive.
⚠️ Friction Points
- 4:29 PM: Noticed taxing power consumption on MacBook during high-animation play.
- 4:33 PM: Encountered a significant streak of small wins without bonus triggers.
- 4:35 PM: In-game help menu lacked an explicit total RTP percentage.

Score Free Games With Bonus Features
If you land three or more scatter symbols, you’ll enter the free spins round.
When you unlock the free spins round, you will automatically get 5 free spins plus a multiplier of x2.
Before you can use those free spins, you need to play through the interactive Vault Feature bonus round.
To open the vault, you need a series of numbers and you will need to enter a 10-digit code.
Players may win between 5 and 100 additional free spins and the multiplier can also be boosted to a total of x17!
- Massive 17x multiplier potential.
- Low entry stakes ($0.25).
- High-speed mobile performance.
- Higher power draw on mobile/laptops.
- Bonus can be difficult to trigger.
- Vague in-game RTP documentation.
Summary
Making a sequel to a popular game can be risky, but thankfully, developer RTG seems to have another hit on its hands with Cash Bandits 2.
The RTP can vary, but the Vault Feature provides an excellent interactive bonus round substitute that can really increase prizes.
